Franny Kehoe

“The Feed” is a hand coded website consisting of an autobiographical ethnography of my personal mobile device usage. I was inspired by the playful, cartoonish, and spunky look of early internet website designs found on GeoCities and 90s video games and heavily took inspiration from the achievements page on the 2009 hit mobile game “Plants vs. Zombies”. By using exaggerated colors and rectilinear designs (and featuring lava, skulls, bugs, and dirt), I hoped this website would spark that feeling of what “cool” meant to me as a kid.
